Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines
The Journal of Management and Operations Research (JMOR) is committed to publishing high-quality research that advances the fields of management and operations research. To ensure a smooth and efficient publication process, we ask authors to adhere to the following guidelines when preparing and submitting their manuscripts.
Scope of Submissions
JMOR welcomes original research articles, comprehensive review papers, case studies, and technical notes in areas related to management and operations research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Supply chain and logistics management
- Decision-making models and optimization techniques
- Organizational behavior and leadership
- Data-driven management strategies
- Operational efficiency and process improvement
- Emerging trends in operations research
Authors should ensure their work aligns with the journal's aim to bridge theoretical and practical advancements in the field.
Manuscript Types and Length
- Research Articles: Comprehensive studies presenting original findings. (5,000–8,000 words)
- Review Papers: Critical analyses of existing literature on a specific topic. (6,000–10,000 words)
- Case Studies: In-depth analyses of real-world applications or industry practices. (3,000–6,000 words)
- Technical Notes: Short papers focusing on specific technical innovations or methodologies. (2,000–4,000 words)
All word counts include references, tables, and figures.
Manuscript Preparation
General Formatting
- File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.
- Font: Use a standard, legible font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point size).
- Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout the document.
- Margins: Set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Include sequential page numbers in the bottom-right corner.
Title Page
The title page should include:
- Manuscript title (concise and descriptive)
- Author names and affiliations
- Corresponding author’s contact information (email and phone number)
- Acknowledgments (if applicable)
Abstract and Keywords
- Abstract: Provide a concise summary (150–250 words) of the manuscript, including the purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications.
- Keywords: List 4–6 relevant keywords to aid indexing and searchability.
Main Body
Organize the manuscript using clear section headings. A typical structure includes:
- Introduction: Define the research problem, objectives, and significance.
- Literature Review: Summarize relevant existing studies.
- Methodology: Detail the research design, methods, and data sources.
- Results: Present findings clearly, using tables and figures where appropriate.
- Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting implications and limitations.
- Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and suggest areas for future research.
References
All references should follow the IEEE citation style. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all citations.

Submission Process
Online Submission

Editorial Decision
Decisions on manuscripts will typically fall into one of the following categories:
- Accept without revisions
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit
- Reject
Authors will receive detailed feedback from reviewers and editors. Revisions must be submitted within the specified timeframe.
Post-Acceptance and Publication
Proofs
Accepted manuscripts will be typeset, and authors will receive proofs for final approval. Authors must review and return proofs promptly to avoid publication delays.
